Some Tales Are Meant to Stay Until You’re Ready to Write Them | Writing Thoughts
Listen, some stories reach your heart because they are meant to be written. I believe we all have some tales to share or to write. We all are, somewhere, searching for some beautiful stories—just so we can understand what the heart wants to say through them.
I believe tales are beautiful, whether written or not, because tales are a part of the universe. Whenever I see the sky changing colors, I believe each day holds a new tale. And when you feel lost in the complexities around you, I think looking at the sky—trying to understand its tale—can help you reconnect with your world.
Everyone has some words they've always wanted to write down. So if you’re wanting to write one, write it — before it becomes too late to put it on the page and bring it to life.
It’s not always necessary that there are ears to listen to your tale, but I think telling your heart is important, so it doesn't die. Not die in the literal sense, but in a way where it has nothing left to feel.
Writing my books always makes me feel happy, happy in a way where my heart feels like it belongs. Like, I know where I am supposed to be. There’s no place more beautiful than this one. A happy place is not outside. Love is not outside. Fulfillment is not outside. What lies outside is only the basic needs—food, money, and luxury. But to live from within, to feel from within, is not possible through external things.
Listen—when you feel unanswered, confused, or clueless, just stop for a little while. Let your heart slow its pace and rest. Close your eyes and feel into your heart. You’ll feel a depth within. That’s what really lies inside us. That’s what keeps the core alive.
Can I ask you something?
Have you ever spent time with nature, under the sky?
How did you feel on a hot day, when the clouds suddenly arrived, and it rained so much that the air felt breathable and light again?
Hey, have you ever watched the clouds after the rain?
Have you ever been searching for an idea, and suddenly, just by looking at the sky, you found it?
How does it feel, watching the moon on a dark night, just breathing?
And when there’s no moon—just a sky full of stars—how do you feel?
How do you feel when you witness a beautiful early morning, or a cloudy day, or a sunny moment in the coldest part of summer, or the first snowfall?
Did you feel something new?
Did you smile?
Did an idea arrive?
Did you discover a new tale?
Listen—life isn’t going to stop and hand you chances. You have to take them. You have to bring your ideas to life—the ones your soul has been waiting to work on.
You know, I’m stuck between the pages of a story I’ve been trying to write for years. Every year, I hope this will be the year it gets completed. Some years, I pause. Some years, I start again. Some years, I complete a first draft. And in some, I rewrite everything to try and make it a masterpiece.
But I’m still in that place—in between the idea and the finished story. Still hoping.
And do you know what I fear?
I fear I’ll never finish it.
I fear someone else will capture it and take it away from me.
I fear I’ll be gone before I reach my destination.
There are a million fears in me—all for that one single idea, that single tale still in progress. And you know what? Every time I return to it, I fall in love with it all over again.
It’s not always possible to write. Some days, we are completely blank. Some days, we overflow with ideas. And some days, we’re just neutral—numb, maybe.
But I always whisper to my story: “Stay with me. Don’t go. Not until I complete this promise. Not until we finish.”
I don’t know why I’m sharing this, but I just want to say—hey, we all have tales inside us. Some are wild. Some are childlike. But they’re ours. They live in our soul like babies, and we must care for them. Be responsible. Be mature. And sometimes, become a child again, so you can ask the questions that lead to the answers you need to finish the journey.
We’re all just unfinished stories.
These tales inside us—they can be anything. A writer’s idea. A musician’s melody. A photographer’s captured moment. A startup dream. A cook’s journey.
Everyone has a tale.
We may not know if we’ll finish our tale, but we must keep it close. Keep it alive. Remind it every day: “I won’t leave you alone. I’ll try. Even if just a little bit.”
Because we can—if we want.
And when you feel unclear or undirected, just look at the sky. Search for the tale the world is giving you today. Or look around. Find one.
Because we’re all a part of a tale.
And we’re all just trying to write it.
😊💫🌝💛
